Cresting
Bands of colour near the nock, painted or printed
Before wraps, archers painted crests: rings of colour just in front of the fletching, so each could pick their own arrows out of a shared boss. Traditional archers still do. A wrap carries the same bands, adds a name or a number if you want one, and gives the fletching glue an even surface to grip.
Our cresting pattern puts a wide band and three fine ones at the front edge of the wrap, in any second colour on any ground. On wooden shafts it sits where a painted crest would.
Sizing
One width for every shaft
A wrap goes once round the shaft and meets itself without an overlap, so its width is the outside diameter times pi, less half a millimetre at the join. Pick your shaft on the card and the width is set; for anything else, measure it and write the diameter in.

Questions before you fill in a card
Which size do I order?
Pick your shaft on the card and we cut the wrap to that shaft’s outside diameter. If you are not sure, measure across the shaft with calipers just in front of the nock and choose Measure mine.
Do wraps work on wooden arrows?
Yes. Choose Wood 5/16 or Wood 11/32 and the wrap is cut to the outside of that shaft. For a shaft that is not quite standard, choose Measure mine.
Can I put my name and numbers on them?
Yes. Up to 18 letters in block, stencil, script or slab, and numbering from 1 to the size of the pack. Both are free.
Can I use my own photo or logo?
Pick Your image on the pattern line and upload a JPG, PNG or SVG up to 8 MB; it adds $3.00 a pack. It fills the whole wrap.
What are the wraps made of?
Printed vinyl. As well as the standard colours there are four fluoro inks and metallic gold and silver, which add $3.00 a pack however many of them you use. The preview draws the metallics with a sheen so you can tell them apart.
When will my wraps be posted?
Custom wraps are printed and posted within 5 business days. Flat $5 postage Australia-wide.
Will the colours match my screen?
Screens differ, so treat the preview as a guide to layout and colour rather than an exact match.
